There is Road Construction this summer on my exit from I-29. Please use alternative directions.
When coming from the south, exit Interstate-29 at number 127. This is labeled Elkton-Sinai. Go east 1/2 mile then turn north on 473 for 5 miles. That turns into 34th Avenue. After you cross the railroad tracks, you will see our farmland and farmstead to the east. The first driveway will be right after the white dairy barn. Doable, but a tight turn with a trailer. The second driveway, is labeled Too'Shay Tack, and is an easier turn with a trailer.
If arriving from the north, take exit 133, labeled Volga. Turn east over the intrstate, then turn south at the first light, 32nd Avenue. Cross the construction zone and proceed to Prince Drive. Turn left for two blocks, then left again (north) on 34th Avenue. You will see our farmland and farmstead to the east. The first driveway will be right after the white dairy barn. Doable, but a tight turn with a trailer. The second driveway, is labeled Too'Shay Tack, and is an easier turn with a trailer.you will see our farmland and farmstead to the east. Hay--we bale prairie grass hay for our own horses, but do have extra for sale. These are small squares (about 40 pounds). You can buy hay here for your camping trip, or buy an extra bale for the trip home. This is a mixture of brome, timothy, and bluegrass, but mostly is just what species have been here on the prairie for a thousand years. $4 per bale.
You are welcome to clean your trailer and we will dispose of the manure. We can usually drive the skid steer with the bucket attachment right up to the back of your trailer.
